Makita moved to Switzerland in his late teens to study at one of Europe’s top financial institutions, where he earned a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and Investment Risk Analysis. His academic brilliance quickly led to roles in international banking hubs—Zurich, London, and Singapore—where he advised some of the world’s largest funds on portfolio protection, derivatives hedging, and global asset rebalancing.
